The Round Up Project: Because Every Family Deserves to Be Remembered
Sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness create the most meaningful memories.
There is something incredibly special about family photographs.
They remind us how tiny our babies once were. They bring us back to the chaos and sweetness of raising little ones. They preserve the faces, the embraces, the laughter, and the ordinary moments we don't realize we'll one day miss so much.
As a photographer, I get to witness firsthand just how meaningful these memories become. And I've always believed that family photographs should be about more than simply having beautiful pictures to hang on your walls. They're about preserving a piece of your family's story.
But I also know that professional photography isn't always within everyone's budget.
Sometimes families are navigating financial hardship. Sometimes there are more pressing bills to pay, unexpected expenses, or simply too many things competing for the same dollar. And while photographs might not feel like a necessity in those seasons, the memories they preserve are no less valuable.
That's why I'm so excited to introduce The Round Up Project.
A little extra can mean so much.
The idea is simple.
When booking a portrait session with Jessica Rae Portraits, you'll have the option to round up your session investment by $10. These small contributions will be collected throughout the year to help gift a complimentary portrait session to a family who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to book one.
It's a small gesture that, when shared by many, can become something truly meaningful.
Imagine a family who has been putting everyone else's needs first finally getting the chance to step in front of the camera together. A mother who finally gets photographs with her children instead of always being the one behind the camera. Parents who get to preserve this season of life without worrying about whether they can afford it.
That's what this is about.
Not just photographs, but the opportunity to be in them. To be remembered. To look back years from now and see the love that was there all along.
How it works
Participating is easy!
Book your portrait session as usual.
Choose to round up your investment by an additional $10 through The Round Up Project.
Your contribution joins those collected from other generous clients throughout the year.
At the end of the year, one family will receive a gifted portrait session through the project.
Participation is entirely optional. Whether you choose to contribute or simply support the idea by sharing it with someone who might need it, I'm grateful you're here.
